THE LAWSUIT AGAINST LYFT, UBER TECHNLOGIES, GROSSMONT HOSPITAL CORPORATION, SHARP HEALTHCARE, PRIME HEALTH PARADISE VALLEY LLC

The purpose of this website is to inform people (including drivers) of the danger that Lyft, Uber, Grossmont Hospital and Bayview Hospital is placing drivers in. It is also a place where people can submit their thoughts and/or experiences.
I will NOT accept a penny in donations.
The basics of this suit:
- Grossmont Hospital placed a psychotic homeless individual into my vehicle. This man freaked out on the freeway and tried to grab the steering wheel while the car was moving at 65 mph. Lyft does not prevent this.
- Bayview (Prime Health Paradise Valley) placed another person who had been ‘locked up’ for attacking his caregiver. Apparently, this was a 24 hour hold. The employee who placed the directly lied to me…told me that the passenger was not ‘here for any violence’. Lyft does not prevent this.
- Uber and Lyft both punish me (and other drivers) for following the law when we choose not to use our cell phones while driving.
- Uber does not pay me for the full mileage of each ride. Uber does not pay me for the full time for each ride. Both of these are required by the laws that the Gig companies actually wrote themselves (Prop 22).
- Uber and Lyft breach the covenant of good faith and fair dealing by failing to disclose material information relating to an offered ride.
Putting psychotic and violent people into unsuspecting Uber and Lyft drivers vehicles? Uber and Lyft allowing this because of the almighty dollar? Pathetic.
Did you expect anything less from these companies?
Well, an employee of Grossmont directly told me that this is normal practice for Grossmont Hospital. To paraphrase:
‘They just need to get rid of their problem. They can’t make any money
off of them, so they ship them off.’
